David and I (Kade) were honored to participate in the first annual Oxfordcon in Oxford Alabama on May 23, 2026. We had a nice little table in the corner where we got to promote the freshly launched Prologue to the Twin Suns webcomic found here on this blog.
It was a first experience for us as well and a welcome one. David sold his art and posters while I tried to get people to play my weird little Sci-Fi guessing game and we both pitched the comic to potential fans.
There were some misteps along the way, things to figure out and what cons are like from behind a table instead of in front of one, but the experience was amazing. You saw fans of nerdy stuff getting to be seen in an area that their presence isn’t usually the focus. Not to speak ill of more popular attractions in our area, like Sports and Nascar, but stuff like Anime, Video Games, and more usually take second fiddle to those. We will hopefully be at the coming up Gadsden Collector Con in July, but in the meantime please keep checking here for page updates and more!
